Pictured with Canine Officer Kekoa (front), are (second row from left) DDW Chair Matt Hibberts of Momon Construction, Chamber President and CEO Kathy Johnson, GCSO Corporal Mitchell Massengill, DDW Vice Chair Nathan Serritt of Calhoun Farm Supply, and Chamber Director of Membership Kim Gallman; along with (third row) GCSO's Captain Ben Worley, Sgt. Jarod Powell, and Major Richie Harris.

Gordon Chamber's Drugs Don’t Work Task Force presented the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit with a bullet-proof vest.

The vest was purchased with donations made by Chamber members and community supporters responding to the DDW task force’s annual fundraising campaign. Several years ago, the task force shifted its focus from individual students to law enforcement and public safety offices to broaden community awareness and program support.
